Just thought I would make a list of things I promise to do as a parent…
1. Give you privacy
2. Keep your secrets
3. Get angry only if there’s a really big reason
4. Call you out on your lies
5. Help you achieve goals that matter most to you
6. Put the past behind and encourage you to make better choices in the future
7. Fight fairly with no yelling
8. Keep an open mind when you share your side of the story
9. Never snoop/ read texts/ listen to phone calls/ go through your room etc.
10. No pressure to tell me every detail of your life

12. Let you be independent no matter how old you are
13. Take the time to listen even if I’m behind on everything
14. Make sure you arrive early to everything

actually I correct that statement. I’m probably the most impatient person you will ever meet. I can’t stand when people drive grandma slow or take 3 hours for something that can be done in 10 minutes.
The worst part of it all is that I hate waiting for anything to happen or anyone to just come along. Waiting for my goats to kid is always feels like it drags on forever. Then I keep questioning every yawn, just everything! It makes me so frustrated until it actually happens and so far I’ve never had one on time. 2 Early and 1 Late. To be honest I’d rather have them a little early. Moving on… People can’t just be upfront with things… no cause then that would make things easy. Everything has to get turned into a game. Sorry I’m a little lazy. Every now and then I’d like a challenge but not every single one! Can’t one of you just make it easy!

1. as much as Valentines day sucks and is a pointless waste of a day, I want one. ironic I know.
